Checking safety-equipment compliance on a busy construction site manually doesn't scale — this project automates detection from existing site camera footage. What you'll work on : • Integrate a pretrained object detection model to identify safety equipment (helmets, vests) • Flag non-compliant frames for review • Build a simple compliance dashboard summarizing detections over time What we're looking for : • Comfortable with React/Next.js and Python (FastAPI/Flask). • Familiarity with Pretrained Object Detection (YOLOv8) is a plus. • Curiosity and a willingness to learn independently.
